Groceries and Stores

1. Nob Hill, 1934 Main St, Watsonville, CA 95076 - this is where we go right away after depositing our bags in the condo to stock up the fridge

2. CVS, 1966 Main St, Watsonville, CA 95076 - same vicinity as Nob Hill, for any toiletries and health products

3. Chevron Watsonville, 200 Lee Rd, Watsonville, CA 95076 - We use this for small runs, e.g., when you run out of eggs or milk. They have a decent small grocery section.

4. Pajaro Gift Shop, 105 Shell Rd, Watsonville, CA 95076 - this is the closest store if you just need basic things such as canned goods and packaged food, but expect them to be more pricey.

5. Gaume Egg Ranch, 3100 Valencia Road, Aptos - Off the beaten path but it's worth an experience to get your eggs from this farm. They have a vending machine for eggs where the chickens will dance for you (not live chickens). They change the theme for every season or holiday. You can also buy large eggs that have 2 yolks.

Sightseeing and Shopping

1. Monterey to the south has the famous Monterey Aquarium and the pier.

2. Carmel-by-the-Sea is a quaint village with shops and restaurants, and their own white-sand beach
