OUR HANDBOOK

Welcome to Pajaro Dunes! As our guests, we encourage you to read our handbook for a more enjoyable and safe stay.

SAFETY FIRST

  1. The fire extinguisher is under the kitchen sink

  2. When cooking, please turn on the fan above the stove. The switch is to the right of the stove. The smoke alarm is very sensitive. There are two smoke alarms in our unit. The one on the wall is independent of the complex, but if that goes off, the one by the front door will soon follow, which will trigger the rest of them in the buildings.

  3. The unit is equipped with a carbon monoxide alarm.

  4. Your door code to the unit is unique to you. We will tell you your code before check-in and is only active for the duration of your stay.

  5. Please follow the set paths to the beach. Do not climb over sea walls or wood fences. The area over the fences is a natural habitat for birds and is protected as that is where they lay their eggs.

  6. No smoking/vaping. This will set off sensors. Community law says no smoking or vaping within 100 feet of any building. There is a fine if you're caught by security.

  7. You can swim in the ocean at your own risk. There is no lifeguard. A buddy system is encouraged.

ABOUT THE SOFA BED

Air-Pump.jpg

The sofa bed mattress is very comfortable. Our family members fight over who gets to sleep on it. The dream mattress needs to be inflated using the OnAir Comfort pump., which can be found in the corner table by the sofa.

The air hole is on the upper right corner of the mattress. Make sure the bottom cap is closed. Twist open the top cap (see picture). The pump will automatically start inflating after you twist it on to the mattress. When it's inflated enough for you, twist the pump quickly the other way to remove it. Bed sheets are in the master bedroom bureau.

Please return the pump plugged in its place. We've had a situation where the air pump disappeared and may have gotten packed away by a guest. There is a $250 fee if the air pump can't be located, as that is how much it costs.

When lifting the glass table, lift from the bottom of the metal frame, not the upper glass tabletop. It is a heavy table so you may need two people to move it. Thank you for your cooperation and enjoy!
