OUR HANDBOOK
Welcome to Pajaro Dunes! As our guests, we encourage you to read our handbook for a more enjoyable and safe stay.
SAFETY FIRST

The fire extinguisher is under the kitchen sink
When cooking, please turn on the fan above the stove. The switch is to the right of the stove. The smoke alarm is very sensitive. There are two smoke alarms in our unit. The one on the wall is independent of the complex, but if that goes off, the one by the front door will soon follow, which will trigger the rest of them in the buildings.
The unit is equipped with a carbon monoxide alarm.
Your door code to the unit is unique to you. We will tell you your code before check-in and is only active for the duration of your stay.
Please follow the set paths to the beach. Do not climb over sea walls or wood fences. The area over the fences is a natural habitat for birds and is protected as that is where they lay their eggs.
No smoking/vaping. This will set off sensors. Community law says no smoking or vaping within 100 feet of any building. There is a fine if you're caught by security.
You can swim in the ocean at your own risk. There is no lifeguard. A buddy system is encouraged.
